For some of us, winter is just finishing up, but there are still plenty of brisk mornings even down in Georgia, and I here it’s always a bit chilly up north. These pretty mitts are made from machine knitting squares.

“This fabric will bring you back. I think I had a pleated skirt from fabric like this in the early 1960s. Anyway, this bag similiar to houndstooth. It is a subtle blue gray color with red specks. I purchased the fabric along with a box of other 1960s fabrics which had never been used. It has two outside pockets and an inside pocket. It is fully lined with blue gray fabric. It measures 8 by 8 by 8 by 8 with two 13 inch straps. The closure is a magnetic snap.”
