Finally, the speed issues with this blog are fixed!  I am not sure I understand what was wrong exactly, but the Dreamhost support people were patient, stuck with me, and fixed “it.”  Thanks Brad!

Now that the house is back in order, I’ll begin with the weekly posts again.  I may take a few days to get caught up since I just returned from Ohio, and it’s midterms season again.
